We made it through the Holiday

yippee, I hope all faired well, I myself can now breathe all the shopping for others somehow it doesnt make much sense
Did I loose the reason for the season... maybe this little story will tell
Most recently at my suggestion, our layspeakers of our church sent all the church members Christmas Cards, over two hundred to be exact. At our church service this past Sunday, my pastor told me my little gesture actually may have saved someone from a dark moment. It seems one of our members received the card and after seeing it was from the church decided to contact the pastor and get help. It seems this person was thinking of ending their life but when they received the card it was like God reaching out to them. How wonderful God is and works

I really do want to cut back on the shopping and present giving, the people I gave presents to, most don't even know what I got them and I dont even know what I got. The gifts were opened so faast and it was not at all fun, if you ask someone what they got last year for Christmas I bet they won't even remember. Never mind all the regifting we do. So what is the reason for the season, gift giving, stressing, gift returns-- oh wait, its to share the birth of our Lord Savior

Wish all a great Holiday

Well Christmas is almost here, how is everyone's shopping going? I notice my gift from you hasn't arrived yet. Thats okay, I understand its hard wrapping a new car up.
Notice my happy grandchildren, they had a visit from Santa today. I didn't arrange it my older grandsons grandparents did. Look at their faces, getting a phone call from a four year old who can barely speak and is so excited is such a delight. He literally could not get one clear word out. I knew what he was talking about as I was privy to the whole visit.
I ended up quiting my second job, coming in at 12 am is not my cup of tea. Getting up to go to my regular job was getting way too hard. I will wait until after the Holidays and find something more suitable for the 2nd job.
Yesterday I made fudge, now I don't know about anyone else, but fudge is overrated, its way to sweet and well its way to sweet. Not something I will do again. Pass me chocolate covered something and I can be just as happy.
Well have a happy? Happy what you ask well whatever happy is, happy does.......

Hey its only three months since I last posted

So I am now working two jobs that are paid, then I have my domestic duties, then theres the taking care of my mom responsiblity and don't forget my grandsons. When does life get back to normal, or is this the norm? When do I get a maintenance me day? My hair looks like crap, when you walk into the salon to get your eyebrows waxed and the women in whatever language she is speaking says "oh my" and then proceeds to rip the hair off in large clumps you know its been awhile.
My real job or the one I will keep after the holidays is forever busy, I am copying this, creating that on the computer, printing up 300 or so newsletters and whatever else comes my way. So when one of the congregants comes in and has a floppy disc and wants me to put it into my computer so she can print out some of the documents and you say nicely sorry the computers here do not take floppys and she gets pissed am I allowed to wack her on the side of the head? When she says, well I need these papers you have to put it on the computer and stands there and waits can I just rip her dumb blonde head off? OH no must be nice, customer is always right, or you freaking kidding me, she was not only wrong but dumb too
Christmas shopping, haven't done any yet, really don't feel like it, don't want to spend the money. Can I give everyone a sorry Christmas is canceled this year card.
Well what can I say, life is good, you wouldn't think it by reading this post, but life can't be half bad I am breathing, I eat, I sleep and God is good and provides, so I guess a little wining and venting is okay, maybe I will get some cheese to go with the wine
